I am a licensed independent clinical social worker providing culturally-responsive individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. I have experience in harm reduction, sex therapy, sex-drug fusion, LGBTQIA+ issues, and substance abuse. I specialize in racial-cultural issues and trauma. I am well-versed in working with anxiety, mood disorders, and the effects of trauma on sex and intimacy.

I was inspired to join the mental health profession to contribute to efforts to make therapy more acceptable, accessible, and affordable for marginalized communities. Social justice and liberation are an indelible part of my work.

For patients, my goal is to develop and maintain a safe affirming space. As a practitioner, I strive to help the field and its practitioners become increasingly more culturally aware and responsive. I am also available for speaking engagements and culturally responsive/inclusive training.

Currently, I am a Doctoral Candidate at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at The George Washington University. As a scientist, I focus on health disparities and evidence-based research to inform culturally responsive clinical practice.
